Proof in the puddin’

I have a plethora of examples to demonstrate KPI results. My job isn’t just about storytelling and drinking lattes all day. It truly matters if our communication work resonates with audiences and delivers results. It’s one thing to be able to tell a good story. It’s another to strategically deliver it to where our audiences are and get their attention. Examples to be provided upon request.


Campaigning for a record-breaker

Full scope, campaigning for the world’s tallest and fastest tilt coaster, Siren’s Curse, was a privilege. Creating buzz during construction, implementing communications to announce the opening date and generate buzz after it was open to the public was a thrill. Frequency and impactful storytelling gets the message out and assures the public this ride is safe and one they won’t want to miss. Report available upon request.


making an impact on organic social

In 2025, I transformed the strategy and approach to the organic social media strategy at Cedar Point. It’s one thing to come up with entertaining content, but to apply it in a strategic way to maximize reach was what I was after. We saw record metrics and turned heads to demonstrate how to sell the park in a very relatable way. Social media is not advertising. It’s a brand persona. Report available upon request.


Brand at work

Following a brand overhaul of the health system, I partnered with Firelands Health facilities director and leadership to spearhead a search, selection and implementation firm to overhaul dated signage throughout the campus. With old and dated branding, our external wayfinding needed a facelift. A very detailed process, I led this project from a brand and advocacy standpoint. The plans for this $500K+ project were set in place upon my departure of Firelands, and have since been constructed in 2026 for a multi-phase install.

Print production. Yes, another feather in the cap. Print media is still alive and relevant. At Firelands Health, I produced the Feel Better with Firelands Health publication two times per year. I ensured we’re on budget, the production timeline was met and contributed a story for each publication. In this particular edition, I wrote the lead story about Dr. Kevin Bailey. I hope you enjoy.


video producer

In my career, I have captured, directed and also played producer in video productions. I am particularly proud of this video. A patient was identified as a local fireman who was struggling with a rare form of cancer. His outlook wasn’t great early on, however, as his conditions improved, we approached him and asked if he would provide a testimonial. The story is emotionally impactful. I partnered with New Departure Films to produce this video.

Writing, editing, producing, oh my!

This video will go down as one of my top memories. This hits home for any Cedar Point fan. I poured a lot of my personal experience into scripting and editing this final piece. I was the kid climbing “Kid Arthur’s Court” when I was a little guy. The senses link us to memories. At Cedar Point, there is plenty of sensory overload and this script was meant to evoke the memories associated with this fun amusement park. To be telling the stories as an adult and inspiring other families to come and make their own memories was a true joy.

Behind the scenes

Take a look behind the scenes of the Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad at how the park keeps these antiques running year after year. One of the locomotives also returned to the park in 2026 and has an emotional story of transformation, paying homage to a man who served the railroad for over 40 years.
