Sound
From a very young age, I was fascinated by sound. Believe it or not, before I was into photography, I wanted to be an engineer in a recording studio. Often times, I would listen to a song or piece of sound and wonder how they achieved a particular effect or played a certain riff. Linked below are a few pieces that I've put together. Some I would consider sketches. Others were project based. Enjoy.
Fall Breeze
An auditory doodle. All arranged with virtual instruments through Pro Tools.
Fail
A more somber piece I arranged. It only has two parts & was never quite finished the way I had hoped. The harmonics compliment the clean electric riff.
The Divorce
This piece was created for a school project. Our goal was to make a movie trailer for a film that hasn't been made yet. I chose to make a score & movie for The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis.
Know Your Way Out
This score was created for another school project. This time we created a "how to" video on how to perform a heist. The score reflects spy-themed sounds inspired by my favorite spy films.
Misty Mountain
If you're a Lord of the Rings or Hobbit fan, you'll know this one. My goal was to create a lyric video with music. I couldn't, however, use an actual song due to copyright. I decided to recreate the song from The Hobbit and create some interesting visuals to go with it.
